Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using simple hologram media based on the Problem Based Learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 060971 Kemenangan Tani in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample consisted of 25 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a learning achievement test and analyzed through normality, correlation, and t-test analyses. The results showed that the students’ mean score increased from 58.2 on the pretest to 85.6 on the posttest after the treatment. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed (0.087 ≤ 0.173). The correlation test showed a very strong relationship (r = 0.843 > 0.367). Furthermore, the t-test result (7.511 > 2.063) indicated a significant positive effect on students’ science learning outcomes regarding the Solar System topic.
